The Peech has two restaurants on the property.

Garden Restaurant

Our Garden Restaurant is exclusively for our in-house guests, serving fresh, light and seasonal dishes throughout the day. The newly refurbished space is light and energising, with floor to ceiling glass sliding doors opening up onto a covered patio and overlooking the hotel’s gardens and swimming pool. It’s the perfect eatery for more casual, light dining, and is ideal for families.

Our garden restaurant is open seven days a week and is exclusively for hotel guests. Reservations are not necessary.


Basalt Restaurant

Basalt, our fine-dining restaurant, is open on selected evenings of the week in partnership with Chef, James Diack. As an intimate fine-dining restaurant this is the perfect place for romantic dinners and special occasions. Chef James follows a ‘farm-to-fork’ philosophy where everything in his kitchen is prepared with freshest ingredients from his family farm, Brightside.

Basalt is open to hotel guests and the public, for dinner service on certain nights of the week. Reservations are required in advance.
